1. Joseph MEKINDA. Born in Yugoslavia--Was Austria. He married Ursula TURK. Born in Yugoslavia--Was Austria. They had the following children:

     2 i. Joseph MEKINDA

     3 ii. Ursula MEKINDA

     Second Generation     

2. Joseph MEKINDA.  Born Circa 1895 in Yugoslavia--Was Austria. Died 1956 in Cleveland, OH.  He married Frances PONIKVAR, daughter of Paul PONIKVAR & Marija GROSPARIC, Oct 20, 1923 in Cleveland, OH. Born Jan 15, 1900 in Mirna, Slovenia (Was Yugoslavia & Austria). Died Nov 4, 1991 in Euclid, OH. They had the following children:

     4 i. Frances Elizabeth MEKINDA

     5 ii. Joseph MEKINDA Jr.

3. Ursula MEKINDA. Born Dec 11, 1895.  Died Jan 1972 in Willoughby, OH.
